How to Create a DIgital Magazine Site for Free

As the coronavirus spreads across other parts of Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the US, major companies are asking their workers to work remotely as a measure against the rapidly-spreading disease. Sri Lanka has extended its nationwide curfew to combat the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, with total cases of infection in the country reaching almost 100.

With the Work-at-home culture rapidly developing in the country we at The Entrepreneur took this opportunity to inspire the Pioneering Entrepreneurs to improve and expand their capacity to the path towards their Entrepreneurship.

We Created a website that needs to inspire the public to the situation that a demand for the Digital age can still be self-dependable.

1. A Computer with an Internet Connection

This is a must, Your computer does not have to be the best but it need to be updated. There's no limitation to the old laptop that's lying around, unless you aren't easily frustrated with it's speed, you are good.

A 4G internet connection with at least 2-5 GB sufficient data would be ideal and you will thank the network for this.

2. Material you need for your webpage; Images and PDF editor

From your LOGO to the contents, all the materials you need to upload on the page you need to keep it ready and organized.

Start by organizing a folder on your desktop. you need to sort your images using a PDF editor and and image edition as long as it can crop your image and upload it in the same quality.

For a Quality webpage you need quality images. make sure it does not have the blur effect when in full screen. Always save your edited images on PNG or Jpeg formats. You can also use Screenshot by holding Ctrl+prt sc on your keyboard together and open MS Paint and paste.

Then you just need to click on Save As and save on either of the above formats.

You can download PDF editors online such as Acrobat PRO which is free to download and give a trial version for 7 days. We used PDFelement which is completely free if you know how to download a crack version.

You need the PDF edition to crop and edit any materials you find useful as well as save your final articles on a PDF format if you wish to publish your contents.

If you are already familiar with photoshop and have a software you can forget the entire 2nd step and skip to the webpage designing.

3. The online Web developing Website and a little bit of Creativity

There are plenty of website builders out there to choose from. But the winner for me is WIX.Com!

Its so easy to customize your webpage the way you want as it offers really nice templates for your need.

The are two ways you could build your website here. 1. Let the website ADI suggest you according to your preference or 2. Custom build with your own creativity. either way you will have to tweak some adjustments for the final outcome.

Add all your required information and always keep your website neat and minimal. once you created the webpage check on the mobile outlook as well. Many online users use their mobile to read that PC.

once you are satisfied with the Mobile outlook create a new page from the menu and Add a HTML space. This is where you will be linking your magazine to the webpage.

4. Creating your e-magazine

Once you have drafted your magazine and saved in PDF form you can try out a PDF to Digital converter from online to create a beautiful digital magazine. you can try it out on yumpu.com by simply uploading your PDF to the website.

Or you can be a little more advanced and try downloading the Flip PDF software. This is similar to the online version you just need to upload your PDF to the software and Convert your PDF to a E-magazine.

0nce you are done converting, click on publish online. You will need to create a free account. This will let you upload one magazine on the FlipPDF server for free upto one month for five times.

Copy the link given on the web and Go back to the new page with the HTML box and add the link. And you are ready to publish you magazine.

Wix will upload and host your webpage for free. You will have a unique weblink for your website visitors. Tip: Change your username to the name for the relevant magazine nama. This will generate the webpage as ["your user name".wixsite.com/"the name you save"]. The Free version will have the wix strip ad banner on the top.

Now Publish your page and share with your contacts and you are Done.
